1907- Born to a wealthy family in Dorset. Monach: Edward VII. Prime minister: Henry Campbell-Bannerman (Liberal Party). Women start with trying to achieve to the vote as the Suffragettes organise their first public procession the 'Mud March'. He has two older brothers (Humphrey and Bertram) and one older sister (Binnie).
1912- Started to attend Dorset's Clayesmore Preparotary School (founded 1896- Iwerne Minster, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8LL).
1913- His younger sister Jeannette is born.
1914- Outbreak of WWI a young brother and sister (Carl and Agatha) come to stay with them from London, this sparks his ambition of moving to London.
1918- End of WWI. He attends boarding school in London. Mill Hill School (Founded 1807
1 Watford Way, Mill Hill, London NW7 2ET).
1924- Finishes at Mill Hill School. Attends Cambridge University to do a BA (hons) in Mathematics.
1926- Leaves University, but decides to stay in London. Gets a job as an investment bank clerk in Fidelity Fiduciary Bank, City of London. Where he meets his future wife Amelia
1927- He marries Amelia
1928- Their first son is born.
1932- He is promoted to Bank Manager and receives his new clerk Andrew.
1933- They send their son to board at Harrow (1933-1946).
1935- He suggest Amelia leaves with Andrew the clerk.
1939- Stepdaughter born.
1939- Outbreak of WWII, goes to fight in the Dordogne region of France as a Sergeant.
1945- End of WWII. Returns as a Bank Manager to the City of London.
1948- Starts to follow her home from school.
1950- Andrew takes the family away from London.
1957- He visits his stepdaughter at Madame Pace's.
1957- He moves the family back into his house.
